On November 4, 2023, Miami will witness the 4th edition of “El Rastrillo 305”, a successful charity event whose main objective is to promote Spanish culture and the social responsibility of the community, reinforcing cultural ties between Spain and Miami.
The event organized by International Studies Foundation (ISF), CIS University Corporate Social Responsibility, M&L Events and the Expats Club will be open to the public from 5 p.m. until 12 a.m. You can enjoy live music, discover numerous stalls in the bazaar and immerse yourself in a culinary journey with offerings from various restaurants. It is the ideal setting for a memorable night with friends and family in a healthy and vibrant environment.
In addition, this edition will have the support and presence of the international singer Carlos Baute, the Spanish singer Juan Peña, the young promise nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards Joaquina and the emerging groups Orbit and Reset Music Band, as well as DJ “G-ON!” who will make everyone dance.
The spirit of solidarity continues to be the core of this event, so all funds raised will directly support the International Studies Foundation (ISF) and the socio-educational projects it carries out in the United States and Spain.
ISF has been developing different social programs for more than seven years, among which the following stand out:
- “Football with Values”, which provides free soccer classes to children at risk of social exclusion in Miami. This project has the collaboration of the Real Madrid Foundation.
- “Go American English!” Program, which offers micro-scholarships for English language training to 2nd ESO students in Spain. This project has the collaboration of the United States Embassy in Spain.
- The “Camino de Santiago (The Way of Saint James)”, which rewards excellent low-income students from Miami Dade College, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the Go American English Program! with a trip to Spain to travel the road. This project has the support of the City of Miami, the Spanish Consulate in Miami and the American Embassy of Spain.
Additionally, El Rastrillo 305 has different sponsors and partners, without whose collaboration this event would not be possible. From the Foundation, we would like to thank: the International Finance Bank, Riva Spain, Abanca, CIS University, Mahou, Kloster Capital, Sanitas, Roca, Cervezas Alhambra, Funds Society, Ackermann International and Sacyr for their collaboration. Also, we want to thank the Consulate General of Spain in Miami, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Miami, the Spanish Cultural Center and the Chamber of Commerce of Mexico in the United States for their support.
The event will be covered by journalists and presenters, Rocio Sañudo Limón and Borja Voces.
