The Go American English! program offers training in the English language through a series of micro-scholarships that, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States in Spain, are granted to students in the 2nd year of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), which also includes the study of American values and culture.

Micro-scholarship programs for the teaching of the English Language
The program
The Go American English program offers training in the English language through a series of micro-scholarships that, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States in Spain, are awarded to students in the 2nd year of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) interested in improving their communication skills in this language. The program also includes the study of American culture, tradition, and history.
The scholarships awarded cover 100% of the costs of the program, school supplies and also offer the possibility of requesting a partial transportation scholarship.
These scholarships are intended for students with a good academic record and a family income below the average in the Community of Madrid.
In addition, throughout the course there will be complementary activities such as cultural visits, sports workshops, the skills of entrepreneurship, talks by experts or intensive sessions on community projects or on human rights.

Mission
Provide students with a solid foundation in the English language, as well as the study and knowledge of American values and culture; transmitting values such as leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteerism and critical thinking, as well as teamwork, an open mindset and appreciation for diversity.
Objectives

Expected results
- 3 hours a week of English classes (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons)
- Books and course materials included
- Possibility of free public transportation
- Development activities such as theater, social entrepreneurship, and community service projects. Talks with experts and a wide variety of other activities.
- Intensive summer learning activities.
