Our Story

ISF was created with the intention of complementing the educational work of CIS University.

2007

Establishment of International Studies Foundation in Madrid.

ISF is founded in Madrid with the purpose of fulfilling the social work of CIS University.

2008

Educational Transformation.

International Studies Foundation becomes an Official Center for Continuing Teacher Training in Collaboration with the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid.

2011

Collaboration with Real Madrid Foundation.

A collaboration agreement was signed between ISF and the Real Madrid Foundation to develop the “Soccer with Values” project.

Liz Murray's lecture "From Homeless to Harvard".

Conference at the Alcazar Theater in Madrid on “Education in Values. Human Quality as the basis of Leadership”.

2012

Founding of ISF in the USA.

Incorporation of the foundation in the United States under the name International Studies Foundation.

Official presentation with Florentino Pérez, President of the Real Madrid Football Club.

Official presentation of the launch of the schools in the United States by Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid first team players in Philadelphia.

Development of Socio-Educational Schools in the United States with the Real Madrid Foundation.

Between 2012 and 2020, the project was developed in 14 schools in the states of Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts and Florida.

2015

Agreement with the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation to develop the Speak Truth to Power Program (STTP) in Spain.

ISF becomes the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation representative in Spain.

The "English Access" micro-scholarship program is developed in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Spain.

2016

Staging of 'Voices from the Dark', the Powerful Play by Playwright and Human Rights Activist Ariel Rothman, a Key Figure in the Speak Truth to Power Program (STTP).

The "English Access" program is renamed "Go American English" in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Spain.

2017

Partnership with the Mayor's Office of Miami to carry out the first edition of the "El Camino de Santiago" program.

ISF signs a collaboration agreement with the Miami Mayor’s Office in order to carry out the first edition of the Camino de Santiago.

President María Díaz de la Cebosa receives the proclamation from the city of Miami in recognition of the "Camino de Santiago" project.

2018

Presentation of the key to the City of Miami to the President for her great social work in the Miami Community.

2019

The second edition of the program "El Camino de Santiago" is held.

ISF succeeds in organizing the second edition of the Camino de Santiago with 22 students from Miami and Madrid.

2021

Official presentation of the Socio-Educational Schools with the Mayor's Office of Miami and the Real Madrid Foundation.

Launch of the Future Leaders Scholarship Program.

ISF awards the first two scholarships to students through the “Future Leaders” program.

2022

The third edition of the program "El Camino de Santiago" takes place.

ISF succeeds in organizing the third edition of the Camino de Santiago with 35 students from Miami and Madrid.

El Rastrillo 305' Charity Concert in Miami attracts support from renowned local singers to raise funds for ISF projects.

2023

The fourth edition of the program "El Camino de Santiago" takes place.

ISF manages to organize the fourth edition of the Camino de Santiago with 50 students from educational groups from Miami, Madrid, Ukraine, New York, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

El Rastrillo 305' counts with the support of Carlos Baute, Joaquina and Juan Peña to give visibility to ISF's projects.
